Got two letters this morning from my credit card company, to whom I did a balance transfer (spoke to them) last Monday. First said they had now reduced my limit, no reason given. Second said I was over my credit limit, which I wouldn't have been were it not for their reduction in my f'ing limit.
The "Collections" dept is going to email someone to get my limit upped, but if they don't then I'm in the schtuck as far as I can see.
Thieving scumbags...
Anyone been in a similar predicament?

All I can think is that I haven't used it for a few months, perhaps they thought I didn't need it. Doesn't strike me as good business sense to reduce a limit for somebody who pays up every month and has a good credit rating.
