Default Question re: Orange Mobile phone.

Hi Guys n gals.

Just a quick question really. I got myself a K700i on orange with 200 cross network minutes etc etc but im not using them. With the odd exception I dont use more than 10 minutes in the entire month !!!!

So how many months do you have to have the full contract for, before you can swap to the lowest tarriff ?

Cheers

Stuart

I can only speak from experience. I took out a 12-month contract in Dec '04 & was told in the Orange store that I could downgrade tariff after 6 months. Maybe it depends on the package you bought, the channel (in-store or internet), the amount you paid for the handset (if any)... etc. Just ask 'em.

Hi Guys,

I can confirm, having worked in mobile comm's that on Orange you can change after 6 months. You'll need to call up after about 5.5 months so it takes effect in time.

Alternatively, if you were mis-sold the tariff you can ask them to change to straight away - you'll need to do a bit or arguing tho !

cheers
