Florida Gulf Coast.
Any recommendations for a good location for a week on Floridas gulf coast?
We will have our 2 kids with us as well, ages 3 and 7, so somewhere with a nice beach and the odd attraction would be good. It will be on the back of 2 weeks in Orlando, so not worried about theme parks etc. If anyone knows someone who has accomadation for rent, or can recommend somewhere they have stayed, all the better!

Clearwater/St Petersburg if you've got kids, and it's not far from Busch Gardens in Tampa.
Personally, I would head towards Naples and stay at the Ritz-Carlton, but it might not be as good for the kids
