Best currency to take to Dubai?
Off to Dubai next week and need to sort some currency. I’ve been told that most places accept US Dollars as well as Dirham. Just wondered which is best to take to get the best deals?

Im afraid when i was there i just used dirhams the same as the rest of the people.
But the dirham and US dollar are tied with an exchange rate of 3.67 so it doesnt really matter as this exchange rate is fixed.
Rest of time I used my credit card. I was working there for 3 months last year.
What I did was take US dollars (I came from Singapore to Dubai) and change to dirhams, but there is no difficulty with using CCs and I never had any money worries. Easy to get money out a cash machine and any card seems to work.
Enjoy yourself its a great place.
