Retail Sector in Trouble??
Been down town and a sports shop is closing down .... got lots of loverly UMBRO stuff for TESCO money
Anyway, it was packed with shoppers ... the queues at the tills were HUGE!
So, no lack of buyers then .............
INDEX is closing down ..... ARGOS are offering 50% OFF items to counter ....
JESSOPS reduced the price of an expensive Lens for me, actually matching the cheapest internet price!!
Most of the other shops have 50% OFF SALES ..... plenty of shops seem to be very worried indeed ............
Is it simply that people are very price aware these days?

Stocking up on your pikey kit then? You can nip to Argos afterwards for a 50% off fake gold chain.
I assume you are referring to the art of MC Escher?

Retail sector is in the vanguard of the economic woes that will affect this country, the Eurozone and the USA in the coming years as the balance of economic power and then political power shifts to the fast emerging economies of the Far East.
What do you think ID cards are primarily for?
Not to fight crime or terrorism but to try to ensure control of the masses when that becomes essential.
Likewise roadpricing and the extension of State control into so many areas.
Just do some research into the economic fundamentals of this country's and the USA's debt.
Look up how the USA debt is funded. By China.
Examine the state of most of the countries in the Eurozone. Dire.
