..i switched off popular music when he popped his clogs....Used to enjoy andy Kershaw.Nobody offered such a span of music far as i could see.

 

Not really the same as those 2 but Steve Lamacq is good, even better now he's on 6 music

 

Not quite as eclectic, but I really enjoy Zane Lowe on Radio 1, he plays awesome music and is very passionate about a lot of bands. I guess he's a bit marmite love/hate, though.

Best moment ever was watching him interview A on MTV2 (remember them?). Opening line of the interview was "12 months ago, I couldn't give a **** about you guys, but now your doing well!"
