Question Porcelain veneers

Have never had perfect teeth, so...

Has anyone any experience of porcelain veneers or can recommend anywhere that does them? also, how much did you pay etc etc?

The wife who is a dentist says Chameleon are good ones to get. A good private veneer costs between £250 and £300 per tooth depending where you are. Get good private ones with translucencies so they look more natural.

I would ask about tooth whitening first

I would ask your dentist for help in the first instance

Jer... Chemeleon veneers are simply a trade name of the feldspathic porcelain veneers from the "TEREC" group. Probably the Biggest lab supplying these in the UK is Malcolm Gill down in deepest Yorkshire (Brighouse)

most of my consultant colleagues charge between £400 to £800 each for Procera Jobbies so the costs can mount up !!!

I would recommend this site.

www.bacd.com

Porcelan veneers, when used correctly, can really transform your smile.
Midlife is right though. One should look at whitening first, and also consider orthodontics. If your teeth are badly shaped/worn aswell as discoloured, then veneers may be the best option.

It worth asking your dentist, but I would want to see his portfolio of before after cases, and ask what his success rate is at the same time.

A lot of dentists call themselves "cosmetic" but really all they do is whitening, and a few veneers here and there.

I would recommend also googling "cosmetic dentistry" or "porcelain veneers"

The sponsored links will take you to websites belonging to mainly cosmetic dentists.

Then go though the sites looking at their portfolios.

(this is my field. BTW)
