Hello
I love Hong Kong -- it was one of my first experiences of a "different" culture to England. I was lucky enough to go and work there when I was 20.
Anyway, have a look here: http://www.discoverhongkong.com/uk/
I would recommend The Peak, Stanley Market, Temple Street Night Market, Mong Kok, Lantau (for the Buddha), going to see a snake shop (if it's in season).
Have fun!

- was there for 4 days about 6 weeks ago and thought the place rocked.
can only comment on Kowloon as that's all I managed to see - Nathan Road and the shopping malls are excellent; the night market just off Nathan Road, Ladies Market - wall to wall street stalls and shops, Apliu Road in the New Territories for electrical and car stuff, History Museum for a bit of culture and definitely the harbour at night especially when the light show is going.
enjoy.

Thanks for the advice. Well looking fwd to it.
Any good nightclubs/bars to go to as well? Not into hard house or heavy metal/rock, just chill out/motown/good music!!
And does anyone know where the best/best value tailors. Want a nice tailor made suit for a wedding. Also the Missus wants a nice outfit made.

Get out and go into the visitors centre at the top of the line..
The first shop you come to is a tailors (on the right hand side as you enter the small shopping centre)
My wife bought a stunning dress and the 'off the peg' Mandarin suits were very
Sure there are better bargains to be had from back-street tailors but I'll be damned if I could give you directions
You'll love Hong Kong
