Live8 Swearing - No Need..
It's doing the whole thing a dis-service.. I swear like a goodun when the times right....
This isn't the right time or place and it's bringing the whole thing down..

daveyboy,
It might have escaped your notice but their is young kids in the crowd and probably millions watching on TV when a singer has to swear on stage they have lost their cred.
Cheers

Well I still have standards and the swearing is totally out of place and shows the low intelligence of those taking part.
Very poor IMO.
I work in an all male industrial enviroment so the air is always blue. If there are children or women about then the air is totaly clean.
Can't see the need for it at all.

Oh shut the **** up...
I'm glad Snoop Dogg didn't compromise his set! They know what his material is like, so they should have put him on later. At least everyone knows his mother****ing name!

If there is a news item on a nasty event can the newsreader swear?
Even worse was that her swearing wasnt even part of her act (snoop) or to emphasize a point (razorlight)...it was just for the hell of it.

There really was no need to do it.. Simple..
