Jump over here and scroll down to "Speakers|Mikes" and have a peek. Should list review results if they have been reviewed or not.
I plug the ipod into my AV setup (Dennon amp, feeding to B&W speaker setup) and it sounds pretty good.

If your budget will stretch to £250, you'll struggle to find better than the Bose SoundDock:
http://www.bose.co.uk/home_audio/mul...ems/sounddock/
Comes with a remote control and really can fill a large room with excellent quality sound.

I like the (white) Creatures too. They sound great for the price (£60 ish on Amazon). Also plug my IPod into various other existing stereos around the house but the Creatures (in the dining room) look the coolest.

I've got a pair of the Creature 2 and I love them. They produce a great sound for the size and they look cool too. They always end up a talking point i.e.
"Where are your speakers?"
"Right there"
"What? Those little white things with the light underneath? They're not speakers?"
"They are"
"Really? Those little things are making all that sound?"
"Yup"
"Wow"

i bought some jack to rca cables a while back, but it is far too basey through my hi-fi, they werent the official apple ones, perhaps thats why. Im interested to get a decent ipod speaker docker though.

Volume - Forget moving it around the house - you can just turn it up! (It can comfortably hit the "lets feel the bass through the floor/chair" level)
Remote control - Useful but does only cover the basics...
- point
You won't take this on holiday with you - it's too heavy to really move around - then again you don't get speakers that sound this good and weigh next to nothing
Overall
If you are into your music and are looking for a very high quality docking bay then it's this one.
