Question Getting rid of a mole (garden variety)

Lazy gits nextdoor did nothing when he moved in about a month ago, their garden looks like the surface of the moon, but now Mr Mole has decided to venture under the fence and into our garden, has anyone got and (sensible) suggestions on how to get rid of the pesky little critter ? or should I just call the "Mole killer" in.

Thanks

Ian
