What is the penalty cost for red light cameras?
Basically, on a set of lights where the phasing has been altered, when the 'strsight on' traffic light turned green, i was in the right turn only (with its own filter light) and edged forward over the white line by just under my cars length i would say. Needless to say my right turn filter light was still on red, and there is a red light camera watching that set of lights, but i am not sure if it covers both or just straight on, etc.
Anyway i digress, what is the fine for such an offence if i was actually flashed by the said camera?

If you did get caught its a two pointer, not sure about the fine. I think you would know if you had been flashed.

I'd suspect the camera only monitors the traffic going straight on

Nope sorry it is 3 points and £60. My other half got caught the other week doing nearly the same thing!

Nope. Much better to just plant your right foot as the filament starts to warm up behind the green lens

if the camera only flashed once don't worry about it,that means the camera didn't have film in it,but if it flashed twice you've been photo'd!!
