There's a wide selection of music too, bit rates vary but usually 192kbps minimum. There are gaps in the library, if you're into weird **** (like me) you might have to look elsewhere, but for the more popular and newer stuff you can't beat it
Oh, and it's credit card only, some people think it's dodgy but I've used it for 3-4 months and no probs so far. You get credit for uploading your own tunes as well.

Your own CD collection is a good place to start, iTunes too if you want legal stuff (you should
) there's loads to choose from.
There are alot of music review sites too with free downloads from emerging artists like http://www.purevolume.com/ which are good resources.
