Anywhere we shouldn't miss this weekend in Amsterdam. Obviously we will be making copious visits to the coloured light district but anything else you know we might enjoy?

Anne Franks house is very interesting, moving and well worth a visit.
Also recommend the Heineken tour, good value for money, and well worth a spin.
Also try and find the Australian Outback Bar. Great food, cheap beer.

There are several museums, the Rijksmuseum features Rembrandt's famous Nighwatch painting. A canal trip, the van gogh museum and a walk in Vodel Park is a pleasant way to spend a day.
Of course, you could just be the typical British ludite and spend all weekend wasted, stumbling about and puking in the street.

We went BMIbaby from East Midlands...... think it was £30 odd one way and £13 back the airport is a dream too, nice and small so no hassle getting about and through security.
Our hotel was the Bridge Hotel on Amstel they have a web site. It worked out at around £100 per night B&B but it was clean and in a quiet location but not too far from the action.
Moses..... contain yourself boy. If you saw some of those "girls" you'd think twice about what you've just said ..... put it this way, a guy would have to be desperate!

This is 50 yards from the Grasshopper
3 to a room on a stag weekend cost £70 for 2 nights.
Definately adequate, it was an over 30's "too posh to doss" weekender
