how easy is it to get it legal on our roads,any good contacts out there? thanks

 

Id suggest buying a car thats already registered. The subject is too great to cover in a reply on a forum. A little work with Google will answer a lot of your questions; some cars are 'easy', many are impossible. With regard to 'contacts'; you have no chance at all, a decent agent is like gold dust and an importer with any sense will no more share his agent than he will his wife. Bear in mind too that more than half of whats posted on ScoobyNet about importing cars and SVA/E-SVA is rubbish too.....
