Surely there are commercial suppliers that could be made to work like **** in the event of BA flights grounded
Or take off without food with pre-warned customers?
Maybe Im totally wrong but would have thought anything would be done before they stop flights taking off?

Jeez, i'd go ******* mental if my flight was cancelled due to no catering available ffs!
Short trips, give everyone a bottle of mineral water (I usually carry one when I travel anyway) and a sandwich. Longer trips, same thing but more. Or give peeps vouchers to buy snacks in the airport before they board.
A$$holes.
Edit: Oh, it seems that's exactly what they were doing earlier but more staff walked out in support of the sacked catering workers.
Great.

The BBC News article here http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/4142408.stm is surely having a laugh?
The catering company's spokesman is called Andy Cook and one of their sacked members of staff is called Kuldip Banger. Is it a requirement to have a food-related surname in order to get employment with them?
