Default GOOD NEWS FOR DISKLOK OWNERS......!!

Evening all, the unthinkable happened today - Disklok key snapped in lock barrel, before disk had unlocked......BOLLOX!

Rang my recovery firm, sent someone out to try and extract broken key that was still in lock, no good.

Half an hour later and after much swearing and sweating having used a hacksaw and crowbar, it was off.....HALF A FECKIN HOUR.....!!!!

Ok, so I was pissed off at the time but well impressed with removal time and the fact that he couldn't do it without sounding the horn most of the time, it's certainly a major deterrant.

BONUS NEWS, after cursing about spending another 60 or 70 notes on a new one, dig out the product info etc etc only to find it's got a 36 month guarentee........ONLY HAD IT 29....RESULT.

Wonder if they'll give me a nice poished chrome one.......?

Si.

Unfortunately an accomplished thief will know the Disklok's weak point; they can be removed in under five minutes when you know how.

5 mins is still a very long time to be trying to nick a car for.....and sounding the horn must be almost inevitable on cars which have the horn on the wheel....

nope you got ripped off!!!!!

all you had to do was reinsert key into lock and the whole unit would have unlocked......

my mate said it was easy money, apparantly the look on you face everytime he

hit the horn was priceless

he was going to do it for less, but you kept banging on how ace the scoob was

and how many burds you had shagged in the back
