Is there such a thing as a reverse phonebook on the net ?? have the phone number and now looking for the address, genuine reason.

Tried that mate, plenty off hits unfortunately most lead to the us, and any uk ones are business only.

did find one but it only gave me the town info which I kinda guessed by having the same area code as the wanted one !!!

any specific links I could try, anyone??

Tried this one before mate.

Illegal under UK law and beyond my search engines.

I spent a day at it and I think I posted on here for help IIRC.

Not to say it's not feasible though...

My query regarded a call-out to work when I was on stand-by. The sites I found (as you say, mostly US / Canada) didn't really answer my criteria but I did find some good locations worth visiting...

UK-Info Professional used to have a reverse number feature but OFTel forced them to remove it.

Have you tried Telecoms heritage groups as some of the EX BT engineers might be able to work the number back to a local exchange if that helps?
