Default Fatigue ??

Wondering if anyone can help

Lately i have been feeling a bit fatigued, like coming home from work & needing to have a quick hour kip.

My exercise levels havent dropped, i still go to the gym 3 to 4 times a week & put in a decent workout

Though work has got a little bit harder at the moment but that will pass

Any ideas people ??

I sometimes get it due to my diabetes. The best thing to do is get down the docs and get checked over. If your car wasn't running quite right I'm sure you'd get that checked out.

Go with it. 1 hour's doze when you're tired isn't going to hurt. Your body tells you what it wants.

Funilly enough I was just talking to some guys at work here about this. We work shifts and a lot of my colleagues don't sleep half as much as I do.

I don't have a problem with fatigue, but If I'm on nights I usually have at least 8 hours solid sleep, and have to set my alarm to get myself up.
When I'm on earlies I go to bed late and get about 5-6 hours sleep.
When I'm on evening shift I often have 10hrs sleep and force myself out of bed, still feeling tired! .

And if I've been out on the p1ss until 3am (or later) I don't normall get up until midday maybe later if I'm hungover, but feel fine once I get up. Whereas a lot of my friends (single and attached) get up at about 10am after a night out and moan about feeling rough.

I reckon I could sleep 9-10hrs every night. Things is when I'm up I feel fine and have plenty of energy. I go to the gym about once a week and usually play football once a week. Is it possibly my body trying to recover from a week of only getting 5hrs sleep a night? And I do quite a bit of overtime too (12hr shifts).

Do I have a problem being able to sleep so much? Or is it just single man syndrome . I could cope with 8hrs a night but always feel able to sleep for longer.

if that doesn't work, get your testosterone levels checked (both total test and free test). probably a good idea to do that anyway actually.

Can be all sorts of issues. Get down to the docs to be checked for all the more serious stuff.

If that all proves to be Ok, then its time to start to look at your diet if things have not improved.

Good luck, P.S. I'm no expert on diet stuff....

Could be an Iron deficiency. Try eating more regularly with food that does have high iron contents. Or see yr doc, like what they said

Must admit in the last year Ive felt more run down. always having a kip on a sunday afternoon on the sofa when the footy has finished etc, starting to feel like my dad. I actually enjoy having an afternoon kip actually even though I wouldnt call it normal for me. Its a little concerning, I dont actually do anything though, dont do much physical work. Sat down most of the day etc, I put it down to being infront of a monitor most of the time....

p.s. Im only 25

could be overtraining, poor diet (especially after exercising a lot), dips in blood sugar levels, lack of sleep ...

remember the most important part of any exercise routine is recovery. good diet and rest is what's needed to recover properly.

now wake up you lazy ******
