Default Whats the daftest thing you've ever bid for on ebay

What is the daftest thing you have ever bid on from E-bay.

I Bid £50 for a ghost one friday night about 2 years ago while under the influence of another type of spirit!!!!

Santa's sleigh was another that caught my attention - but was put off by the high mileage.....

TT

Just after I signed up for eBay, found watches for 1p.... Was away to buy about 15/20 just cause I fancied it. Decided to buy a Honda Watch first to see the quality, never noticed the 7quid postage!!

Closely followed by "Mr Hanky, The Christmas Poo" on CD Single which I bought the same day....... won that for about a fiver after I paid for postage.

Cheers,
Grant

Just picked up 20 5ft pool tables don't know why. Got a friends a massive flat bed to collect them but diesel cost 50 quid and only 5 of them are any good rest are all damaged in some way. which I knew when I bid . While I was there I got a 1/10th scale remote controlled subaru for £15.00 so not a complete waste of time.

Anyone want to buy a 5 ft pool table ? only 20 quid to a scoobynetter

Five non-working ZX Spectrum motherboards, which the post office didn't even bother delivering in the end

Must be catching, I won 4 PC DVD ROM drives about 3 years ago which the seller was unable to test (so they were broken basically). They got lost in the post and luckily enough the seller was good enough to refund the money.

Also won a Pentium 2 motherboard for £12 which had a dodgy bios. Couldn't fix it and ended up throwing it away.

I also for some reason bid on a tray of 10 pentium 166 processors, god knows what I would have done with them if I had won.

When I first started using ebay I went through a phase of buying up old computer hardware to build PC's for home. In the end I threw the whole lot away and it would have been cheaper to just buy the lot brand new.

On the plus side I got £92 for a knackered IBM thinkpad pentium 2 laptop which was missing several bits.
