One from the P900 or P910i should work if you know somebody with one of those phones.

actually a better question
1 phone to replace my current 2
it would be better if people have used these phones before so can give me a good answer
1st phone
nokia 6600
good points
mmc card,
symbian phone (series 60 phone )
which means i have over 500 games, and 20 apps.
love the joystick
bad points
volume VERY POOR, for ringing and talking
battery life pathetic, about 8 hours of continuous use (ie games )
size
slow , as i use a 1gb card
when taking a picture you have to stay still for a few seconds
2nd phone
nokia 6230
good points
volume is excellent RING TONE is an mp3 tune so well loud
camera doesn't need to stay still
smaller in size
battery life good
radio
mp3 player
bad points
i hate the middle nav button, as i always keep pressing the wrong direction,
(got case on)
after 1 year the current games don't work (don't ask why , it just sticks and nothing happens)
its a series 40 phone
nothing fancy to play around
what phone can replace the 2 and hopefully keeping th good points
and minimizing the bad points
my last phone before the 2 was a SE t68 and i hated it and i mean hate it
it was SLOW, it sometimes won't connect, (nothing to do with network, as others work) tones well ****e so unless SE improved am abit too hmmmm eehhhh
am i correct that the k750i and the w800i
is 99% the same phone
what do you guys think of the
nokia N70 coming out next month (won't be surprised if an "i" comes out after that)
or even the N90
bit of a nokia fan y'see

All K750's come with a USB cable and thats all you need to upgrade the firmware.
I have used my USB cable with DaVinci App to de-customise the Vodafone **** and also to update the customisation file.
Also used the USB cable to update the firmware via the Sony Ercicsson website with no problems.
Camera is excellent, I have taken pics and printed them off and they are now in frames and look like 35mm prints - thats how good it is in my opinion.

I upgraded the firmware to R1L002 and it works perfectly now, supposed to fix a few other bugs as well.
By the way, it's a good phone IMHO.

What about the new Nokia N90?
According to my local comms shop it's due for delivery with them in the very near future (by the end of Aug is what Nokia promised them but they say they're usually a couple of weeks out).
It's supposed to have a decent camera. 2 megapixel i think with Carl Zeiss optics (Nokia salesman's blurb!!). I'm upgrading anyway and want to see this phone before making a judgement. Seemingly it's quite a bulky phone so that puts me off but i'd be interested to see it first before totally discounting it.
Has anyone else any experience of it? I believe there are a number of handsets already out there for reviewers.
Cheers
James

No difference in the hardware. It's the same phone. Has a slightly different firmware that is slightly more geared to listening to Mp3's. It also comes with better headphones, PC software to organise your mp3's and transfer them and a 512Mb memory card instead of a 32Mb one.
