Russia and China don't really like each other too much. Although they are working together now I can't imagine them buddying up and having a pop at another country. However, the Russian president is a bit too hard line to feel completely safe IMHO and Bush is just a complete tool and quite likely to kill us all.
I do however think that there should be something in the world to stop the US riding rough-shod all over the rest of the world. Although they speak almost the same language as us they scare the wee out of me more than any other country. Although China is on the up and up its in danger of suffering a "Boom and bust" scenario.

Most of them dont have the ability to strike outside of their locality, the UK and US have ICBM's and Israel is protected(and armed) by the US by way of a treaty, so effectivley has ICBM's too.
The most "threatening" Islamic states were all armed to the teeth by the US anyway.
Whats most dangerous is the inevitable war mongering talk that will no doubt emenate from the Whitehouse Press Office and ruffle things up further, instead of the economic and political dialogue being entered into by the Europeans.

Problems in China stem from vast inequality the majority of the country is still peasant farmers who are at the complete mercy of big Business which is developing on a large scale but for a very small number of people. The so called peoples government is as corrupt as they come and now things are developing into an almost feudal system. This has lead to hundreds of riots and civil disobediance as in theory China is a communist country. All the lies about the peoples Government are starting to show through with the economic expansion that leaves a tiny minority rich and the majority worse off than they ever have been. This is pissing people off and giving them revolutionary ideas. In the long run not good for economic stability.
