Thumbs down DVLA ********

I transfered my private plate onto my car a few months back and never received a replacement V5, on my old car the replacement arrived within 2 weeks. Ive finally accepted its not coming and have got a form from the post office to get a replacement. The cost? £19!! So the DVLA lose/cant be bothered to send me a new V5 and im left £19 out of pocket! Even the tick boxes that ask why youre asking for a replacement doesnt say, "DVLA lost my bleeding V5!", so ive had to tick lost for other reasons!

My dads just told me of a feature in MCN a while back where bikers have sent off their licences for updating and theyve come back with only car entitlement. When theyve contacted the DVLA theyve been told to "prove it" when they say they have bike licence too! Many have had to retake their bike tests after 30+ years due to the DVLA's incompetance!
