Hello
I want to move a whole vanload of furniture from South Poland to the UK. Having got some (stupidly high) quotes, can anyone recommend someone or a company?
Thanks,
Steve

Hello
Yes ... could do that. But was looking to pay someone else. And now of course, all of Polish friends can come here legally, so that's the refugee angle gone ...

Hello
Try DFDS on 01708 892 000
They are a road freight company and very reasonable "to" eastern Europe for my packaging supplies, well I think so, they may come back the other way.
Good Luck

Triple og,
Don't know you as a person, so not having a go at you, but ever since Poland joined the EU the place where i live has become infested with Pole's selling anything, drugs included, hassling people in pubs, prossies etc.Reminds me of the Albanians when Kosovo kicked off, Britain just attracts all sorts looking for a handout, education, fast buck etc.

Hello
My wife is Polish, but not being biased about it, there are LOTS of Polish people in England now more than ever. You only have to (sadly) look at the 52 people who died in the bombings on the tube a few weeks ago, 7 were Polish. That's 7 out of 52 "average" tube passengers, so do the math ...
Edit:
To answer the above, most are actually hard working and not selling drugs / doing anything illegal.

Boxst,
thanks for a constructive reply, it's a rarity on here mate. it's just my opinion on my area, i have no doubt there are hard working peolple trying to earn a honest living, they are not even illegal now as your country is now in the EU, But the ones i have encountered are all bad news, you can't even get any tesco value foodstuffs locally as all the Poles have filled their trollies with the stuff,
