Red face Question for Police on here.

This is a question relating to a friend not me !

Wife had affair,
She left marital home,
She has been dumped by whole family, even her own mun & dad
Court order in place banning her entering marital home
Court order in place for visitation to kids

Husband takes kids on a 1 week holiday returns to find her back in home.
Calls police, they remove her from property.

Week or so pass she sends note to husband saying he has to move out as she has decided to move back in and look after the kids.

Turns up on doorstep with kids at 10pm (She'd had visitation) saying she is homeless and apparently loses in BIG style screaming crying head butting floor etc in front of kids / neighbours. Husband gets her inside house to calm down and she refuses to leave. Police called again but this time they say it is a civil matter and they cannot arrest her - remove her from property ???

What the f can he do ???

Do you know if your mates "Court order in place banning her entering marital home" has expired?

If so and the house ownership is in joint names then the Police (I believe) can't do anything and your mate should see his solicitor again.

EDITED TO ADD - I'm not a Police Officer so can't say what they would, but I got the above from my better half who's reasonably in the know

Alternatively he could call someone from the local Fruit farm to get her head evaluated

Red face

That is a possibility, he did say he was going back to court to see if he could get clause added to allow him to change the locks. He thinks that it will take up to 4 weeks to sort out. Poor Ba5tard is going out of his mind, she is ripping his work suits up & cutting buttons off shirts etc. How he hasn't lamped her one I do not know. Obviously she is trying to goad him into it cos I'll guess if he does smack her one he'd be locked up straight away cos she'd give a right old performance (unless the same cops arrive who have been called to the house on numerous occasions due to her behaviour)

He's near breaking point with the stress of it - I've tried to help him by pointing out that her behaviour has got everyone on his side - even her own mum and dad, get back to court and get the ban extended.

He is buying her out off house but process hasn't finished yet.

What must this be doing to the poor kids ????

Edited to add

He has contacted the local mental health clinic but she refuses to go.
What steps are involved in getting somebody sectioned ??

The poor b@stard Jods mate, as lawson says i think the best thing is to think of the kids and get them away. Forget the legal ****, protect the kids, the poor ******* have prolly gone through hell and this attention seeking weirdo is really messing with their heads. Get them away and tell him to think straight and logical. Deal with the court issues once the kids are safe from mental and possibly physical cruelty God i feel for those kids i really do, shes their mum ffs

She can be removed to prevent a breach of the peace if she's losing it.

Failing that she could be coaxed outside and then nicked for public order offences or removed through mental health legislation (did I say that?).

Surely if shes ripping suits up shes liable to criminal damage.... and Surely if shes been on the door step banging her head ont he floor etc the police should have took her away for her own safety? hence leaving him with the kids and the home with her looking stupid and facing being mentally unstable? Nobody would have left her in charge of the kids in that state.... There must be someone who can do something?

Nah - been advised that he'd be in a big load of bother if he did that before she was off the deeds / mortgage
