its been interesting reading some of the threads on here about terrorists/extremists/illegal immigrants and i was especially interested in the thread containing the australian rant, with which i largely agree...

i was just wondering if anyone on here can ever see a time in the not too distant future when we will live in a safe, secure country that puts the interests of the majority over that of simply attempting to appease the various minorities...

thoughts anyone...?

That thought leads you to desiring a country with a dictator in charge who uses bully tactics to suppress minority views. Of course I know where you're coming from but there is a danger. I personally would like a sort of benign oligarchy with shed loads of experience and common sense in charge (no one under 50 for starters!). But "common sense" means different things to different people. dl
