Why do some women wear a skirt over their trouser?

Popped out for some eggs this morning and strolled along the high street. As I approach Somerfield I see not one, but two young ladies wearing trousers AND a skirt!
I've witnessed this phenomenon before and was hard pressed to rationalise it. Is it just an oversight? Do students and left wing single mothers with dreadlocks sometimes wake-up and simply fail to remember they left their dirty flared cords on?
Please help - I find it disturbing.

Cheers Moses,
You're an odd one you know. One minute you're all knashing teeth and full of abuse (other thread) and the next pleasant and likeable.
We talked a while back about not letting people wind you up (they do, by the way, for sport) but you always bite. Just let it go mate. I think sometimes in a fit of temper you fight fire with fire. You respond to perceived bigotry with bigotry, which of course makes you a hipocrite and your arguement untenable.
Not a dig, just an observation.
By the way, depsite being Church of England by birth my "Scottish" team at school were The Bhouys. This was simply because they wore green and white the same as my team Plymouth Argyle. It was not until I was 15 or 16 that I stopped wearing the shirt when I sadly became politically aware.
Still support them on the quiet though![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)

I then popped into the bedroom, pulled a skirt off the hanger and handed it to her (she has her jeans on).
She's just "gone out".
