He's a Siamese fighting fish, got him yesterday, the pic doesn't really do him justice because he's a lovely looking fish with a great colour

He's in a tank on his own ATM, I'll get more fish once he's settled. Just can't have another fighting fish with him

Be very carefull what other fish you put in with him. No Cichlids as they tend to fin nip and dont like other fish at the bottom of the tank. Tiger Barbs and the kind BIG NO they'll have his fins within an hour. Dwarf Gouramis, tetras, platties would be fine as they're easy going fish. Just tell the fish shop that your after some fish to put in with a Fighter and they should sort you out. Rummy Nose Tetras would look good with your fighter as they have a red nose.

Also, you can put in female fighters but it is recomended that you have two per male.....shame I can't say the same about life in general ![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

i just dont "get" bettas......they dont seem to far removed from goldfish with big eyes and fancy tails....and then ppl put them in 5g tanks. I know its a big thing in "fish world" but not for me i'm affraid!
