A couple of my friends have just completed a trip from Lands End to John O'Groats - on their push bikes! ![Eek2](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/eek2.gif)
1078 miles in 2 weeks. No support vehicle or anything. Just backpacks and their cycles.
Awesome achievement documented here:

They did it for charity, so please take the time to sponsor them.![Thumb](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif)

Some blokes at my work have just done it for charity. I think they did it a lot quicker but they were just doing it in cycling wear and had a support car with them.
Good effort though, i don't think i'd fancy doing it.

that averages out as 24mph. Good God almightly. I'm impressed with my average of 18mph on my 32 mile runs at the moment (I have only just started cycling again tho')
I bet that they were absolutely hammering down the hills to make up time for the uphill stretches....
