Does it do as it says on the tin or are we paying a premium to re-route calls via an 0844 number?
What is the TOTAL cost of the call for say 5 mins UK landline - USA landline

Yep, telesavers amd telediscount definitely only charge fixed rates, starting at 1p a minute for spain etc. Even some good deals to phone mobiles abroad.

Hello
I use these numbers extensively to call around the world, and they do what they say: i.e. 1/p minute to the USA.
It's always worth checking the price from each company here: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/callchecker/ as prices change frequently.

I Use http://www.ratebuster.co.uk (0844 720 2020) every day... total cost for a 5 minute call from uk landline to usa landline (or mobile) is 5p (remember BT do charge a 5p minimum call)
1 min = 5p
5 min = 5p
10 min = 10p
20 min = 20p etc.. you get the idea![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Just to add... i sometimes use it with my mobile, 0844 numbers are included in my free minutes with o2, but when i've run out they charge 10p per min.
