Scooby owner one day

I know there is another thread about getting no signal on sky mine has just started doing that in good weather but comes back on later but the picture and sound break up every few seconds , some channels worse than others , is this because the dish or lnb is out of line slightly or a receiver problem? Sky want £65 to come out but dont want to pay that if its only gone out of line. Would a local company be cheaper?

It's worth getting it re-aligned. You can get a satellite finder from Maplins for about £20 and do it yourself. Also check there aren't any trees or the like blocking the line of site to the satellite or you may get problems from that.

I had this problem some time ago when i first had sky put in,strange the missus said it only happened when i was in ????????Guess what ..it was my snooper radar detector check this out

what model radar detector? the site doesnt say so

It was a top of the range 'snooper' about a year and a bit ago,it had 'signature' written across the top and was the size of a *** packet.

edited as ive just found the type it was a SD815
