Was running just below the full mark in the Scoob, so thought I'd fill her up (taking into account PSLewis' wise-words!!!)....
Could only put in £3.74..........
and that's where the problem started.........
got into the shop -
In a mad frenzy, I started filling up my basket -
Max Power,
Top Gear
Evo,
Autocar (for an informed opinion!)
Nutz
2 x cans of Red Bull
1 x lucozade
2 x dairy milk bars (large)
Ready Salted crisps
peanuts
Topic
Turkish Delight
Crunchie
Milky Way - didn't want to ruin my dinner
Easy-listening CD - Pan Pipes do rock anthems
Magic Tree
5 litres of oil
screenies
A PDA holder & calculator
and a flyer for a local folk band
THANKFULLY the wife followed me in and calmed me down, as she saw me from the car, running frantically around the shop, shoving customers out of the way.....

the best thing i have found at my local shell with regards to the panic buying, is that they are out of normal unleaded and diesel except for two pumps but the optimax (on all pumps) is still there so i can just drive in, fill up and watch the wallies sitting behind one another out of the forecourt and up the road.
