Default Where to stay in Blackpool?

I'm planning on going to blackpool for a drink or 2 with a few mates, 4 of us in total. Only problem is the illuminations are on at the time so the B&B's we usually stay in are booked. Can anybody on here recomend any decent B&B's that I could try?

That is the problem that I'm having. It seems most places are after a minimum of 2 nights.

Travel lodge is just a bit too far out of town.

How packed does Blackpool get towards the end of september? Will we be able to turn up on the day and find somewhere?
