It was a HDTV feed .... not sure where from??
I'll tell you how good it was .............. the missus doesn't give a fooook what she watches, she could sit and watch a film in B&W with it flickering all the time and she wouldn't mind ............... well, I have to report that she was blown away by the quality!!!!
Now, thats by far and away the best report I could ever get!! When I hooked up the Sony Dolby Pro-Logic set-up about 8 years ago, I asked her what she thought (Top Gun Film on!!) .............. she said, "It's louder, is that whats supposed to happen?"
Now, if the old dear can see a marked improvement in picture then IT IS WORTH INVESTING IN!!

Yes, it means your current TV will be 5 years behind on quality developments, you'll have a 50" monster weighing 9 stone and everyone else will have organic screens built into their curtains

the demos are done from a PC, bpought a 26 inch Samsung HD and its pretty good, makes an amazing monitor, will reserve a proper sized one for my AV room (due next year) as a massive telly in the main living room is just plain Chav.
