Can anyone make audio leads?
Not a difficult job that I need doing, but I'm incompetent and can't find what I need for sale.
The lead I need is a 3.5 stereo to single make RCA/Phono with a 3 or so foot lead. On the drawing I have the top two connectors on the stereo plug go to the pin on the phono plug, the drawing has two square boxes and 100 ohm written near them. The last connector goes to the outside of the phono plug. Anyone have any idea? Can make one? Would like beer money?
TIA

Has that connector got the required 100 ohm resistors in it, though? And have you got a 3.5mm stereo to 3.5mm stereo jack connector? I'm very puzzled as to how that little doohicky will fulfil your requrements without one, based on what you said in your first post. what are you actually doing with it? I'm imagining you wanting to input into an amplifier from the headphone socket of a piece of equipment, am I right?

I very much doubt it has the 100 ohm thingies in, what do they do, I'm guessing they stop me from turning the volume up too much?? My new aviation helmet has an audio input in the form of a female RCA plug, I want to plug in my iPod so I can listen to a few tunes as I fly about. I already have a 3.5 stereo to 3.5 stereo lead. Let me know if I'm likely to start a fire as it wouldn't be fun at 2,000ft.

LOL, No, you won't start a fire. It's just that headphone outputs are at a considerably higher power than normal line-level signals, which is why the resistors are required. 100 ohms seems a lot, anyway. You will have to turn the volume right down on your iPod, or you will get distortion.
