drug taking....
Does this look like a desparate attempt to 'up his ratings' - to any one else

What a prat... How many A-lists snort a bit of Charlie ?
Does it take a tabloid attack on one such A-list person for Sir Ian Blair to step in on behalf of us, the public, and save us from this tyrant ?
Will he do this so publicly for each A-list cocaine sniffer?
He is a stooopid Dum-a$$ IMO

Bit of a waste of time. But there you go.
Maybe the Mirror bunged him a few quid to do it. After all the reasonthey ran this story was they tried to expose her before. She sued and won. So they are just a teenybit pissed off

what i dont get is how are they going to do anything about it. all there are is photo's, unless they arrest her for possesion of cocaine whats gonna happen.
I dont think some people realise how widespread it is. for example one mate is a bank manager and he took some into work the other day. Not to mention when everyone goes out on the **** together

What makes me laugh is all the big companies now backing out of their contracts - all expressing their 'surprise' that a supermodel has a coke habit. Coke use is massive. It's a bit like people pretending to be surprised that most Premiership footballers enjoy a pint or 2.

It makes me sick how these essentially useless individuals court publicity and notoriety and then scream when they get caught doing something illegal and feel they haven't done anything wrong.
What's worse is how they always seem to get on in life as some sort of hero/heroine.
Other celebs have in the past been catapulted further up the career ladder due to some illegal activity.
I hope she loses every contract she has, and as for that tósspot of a boyfriend, well, that's something to look up to isn't it?
Coke use maybe widespread but it's not big and it's not clever. To me it's an indication of the state the country is moralistically.

Total waste of time and money. Just think of the cose of bringing her to trail....her clever arsed lawyers against the crown. All the time that will be needed to make it stick.
All this, and I have a mate who got his **** kicked in a pizza shop (with CCTV) and nothing is going to happen. People who did it are intimidating witnesses, and it would take too much police time to sort out

Drug taking among the rich happens when people get money who don't have intelligence and/or common sense.
If they buy coke they also fund crime sindicates as well as the drug dealers. The drug is also then made widely available for use by people who cannot fund their habbit and thus steal our cars and break into our homes.
There should be a zero tollerance policy on drug taking in the UK.
The cost of letting people get on with it will end up being far higher than stamping it out.
Cheers

You may not like my reply to your comments....
I would leglaise drugs. Make sure that they are clean, not of the incorrect dose. Would also ensure that you do not fund crime syndicates.
I do firmly believe that people have the right to choose their own destiny. I choose not to take drugs, but I do drink. I do not really see the difference between the two.
I know there are lots of people who do not agree with that opinion, and I have nothing new to bring to the debate. So I think this is likely to be my final comment

But who gets her money, the crime sindicates and drugbarrons who then offer **** to our kids or fund bigger crimes like armed robbery.
Let some druggie carjack your car, wreck your house or god forbid loose a family member and then comment on how harmless drugs are.
Throw her in jail and set an example.

Lee,
I for one totally agree with what you have said.
20 years ago I lost a good mate to drugs. What a waste!

Problem is, the girl is probably only using the stuff to keep gainful employment. Got to keep your weight down to be a super model.
Friend of mine used to do catwalk to top levels. She lived on **** and water for weeks at a time. She was lucky if she took a dump once a fortnight. Got to the point she was doing coke daily as well to keep herself awake. The day an agency told her to loose more weight from her face before they would book her for a certain shoot was the day her father pulled her out of modeling. She was 17 - 19 then. She is now 24 and her period is only now just returning. She will also be on hormone replacement therapy and vitamin injections for the rest of her life. I.e. her body was so buggered from keeping her weight down (problems already happened before the coke) that is will never actually recover.
She tells me that coke was supplied to her and other models by "minders" in the business to "help them". Usage was also rife in by the models agents, advertising execs, creative directors etc.
Me ? I blame the glossy magazines and fashion in general. The day that normal shape women grace the catwalk and advertisements in magazines, the day the pressure will be off to almost kill yourself to work as a model in the high end of the industry. It is getting better but needs to get better still.

I saw an episode of "tenants from hell" in which our delightful Kate Moss was featured. Far from being a "victim of the system" as you are protraying, the woman was a stuck up, selfish junky knightmare!
She rented a lovely old cottage in the cotswalds from a nice old couple for a year or so. When they got the house back she had completely trashed it in the most disrespectful way. *** butts stubbed out on the furniture, filth and rubbish everywhere, light fittings torn off the walls, antique furntiture left outside and boozy all night parties.
The old couple insisted on meeting her in person before she moved in and she turned on the charm act for them. After moving out she refused to even talk to them, let alone try and fix what she had done.
She needs a good kick in the jacksie, scummy b!tch.
