Wanting some recommendations please on holiday locations. Type of thing me and my other half are after is a plush, all inclusive deal in the Caribbean or Asian Pacific for 1 week. We're wanting to spend no more than a £1000 each.

We had a holiday in Egypt early this year and enjoyed it immensely trekking to all the sites, but want a chilled one this year where we don't have to get up at the crack of nuts every morning

Would like a place where they've got watersports, snorkelling, diving etc.. to keep you entertained and a place where you can vernture outside of the hotel without the fear of being mugged

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Try www.expedia.com and looks for holidays to Fiji or something? I was looking about a month or 2 back and for about 1k each fiji is easily done

I'd try Redang/Tioman Islands in Malaysia. Stunning. Its a 13.5 hr flight though.

Davegtt - cheers, was considering last minute deals, but the misses gets a little stressed if she hasn't got it booked well in advance. Is a good suggestion though as you can pick up some bargains.

Looking for specific hotel recommendations too from people's personal experiences.
