Just bought this in hmv for 6.99.
I didnt notice anyhing differant! I know theres only 8 minutes extra but i thought i would have picked something out!
Still, its a good remake and theres an extra scene in the featurettes of Steve the gun guys video diary!

Its only the second time ive seen it but from what i can gather it just gives certain charactors bigger scenes with more dialogue. Not sure if theres more gore though.
I considered buying the original trilogy box set but it doesnt contain the directors cuts.

the first version i saw was really cut. it didnt have the end credit videocamera scene and cut out lots of little bits throughout the film that the directors cut would have .

and the gun guy is andy..not steve..steve was the fool with the boat ,
