Yeah but some of the DFS stuff's quality is debateable.
I bought mine from Arighi Bianchi in macclesfield 2k and it is soooo comfy and has so far stood up to the test of time

I got both my lounge & sitting room sofa's from DFS, took the nothing to pay for a year deal, as its free money
Both cracking suite's one is brown leather at the bottom & all of the main sofa & a chenille type material for the cushions its really comfy
The other is a Red
leather corner sofa that is in the sitting room (converted garage) an really suit's the feel of the room as its just really my den for watching the footie
IMHO you cant beat DFS
Also i looked at the other usual stores & i found that all they stocked were cheap leather ones ie as in the look an feel & the old traditional style sofa's the ones your mum has

I find it is sometimes helpful to put a name in to here http://www.clik2complaints.co.uk/ before buying and just see what the general feeling is about a company. Be careful though, it is a complaints site, you are not going to find anything very positive, but you may get a feel for how they handle you if something does go wrong. HTH

If you're in Blackpool area - there is a big wharehouse place not far from B&Q near M55 roundabout - get all sorts of leather suites stock in at much reduced prices. They apparently just buy a 'truckload' unseen & sell it on...

I bought my sofa from the Ideal Home Ex. It was listed at £2000, which they said was a special show price!!! ![EEK!](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/eek.gif)
Managed to whittle them down to £1100. Top grade, very soft leather and hugely comfortable. I can easily lie flat on it and still have loads of leg room (and no, I'm not vertically challenged).
Everyone who sees it and sits on it wants it!
The company who made it was Donaldson & Lyttle I believe.

Well I have seen the same sofa that I saw in Downtown in other shops and at comparable prices. Sure if you can go direct to the manufacturer then you will get a better deal. My point was that if you are being offered an interest free repayment period then that costs the company, they have to claw that cost back and the most likely candidate is in the initial purchase price. If you can't afford to pay for the sofa at the outset, then an interest free deal may be worth paying extra for. It's all horses for courses and was trying to offer an alternative.

Bought two at a place called Vine Mill in Oswaldtwistle, near Accrington. About £1300 if I recall for the pair.
Not the most salubrious showroom but loads of choice the prices are excellent. They sell to all sorts of retail outlets but you can cut out the middleman and get a great deal especially if you haggle a bit.
Fantastic quality. We bought two for the conservatory about two years ago and they get a lot of use but are still like new
. I'm thinking of buying a couple more for the lounge. Saw stuff nowhere near as good at three times the price.
Highly recommended
