....as long as the package will cover the increased commuting costs in Scoob or a cheap diesel runaround then I say go for it.

Its different to what you are doing currently. Remember that you may only want out of the industry because of the tough time you've had in your current position, a fresh company with a slightly different product might be enough for you rather than changing totally.

All the above is IMO anyway!!

Cheers,
Grant

It will cost me £2600 a year in fuel, and thats just work not including going else where etc. So financially i wouldnt be any better off.

As i live at home my dad doesnt want me to get a runaround as he doesnt want another car on the drive.

The only plus side is i hate my current job, but i dont want to end up with silly mileage on my scoob!

How many miles is it?

Surely no question about it. Take the job and if the petrol is a problem sell the scoob and buy a practical car.

As already mentioned plenty time to own another one.

Bad news!!!!!

Hes just took a contractor on, theyve took him on as self employed. I took too long letting him know.

On the plus side theyre going to be taking someone else on and im going to go down tomorrow. Ill probably have to apply now though! Will have to see what happens.
