You're looking up into the sky with a pair of Terry Pratchett quote-viewers on?

Smile

My Latin teacher greeted the class initially with the words "Amo, amas, amat. You will NEVER forget these words and their definition!".

That was 24 years ago...

Here's a couple :

QED : Quad Erat Demonstrandum : That Which Was To be Demonstrated.

VITRIOL : This one's a bit different : Visita Interiora Terrae, Recificando Invenies Occultem Lapidem : Visit the interior parts of the Earth, by rectification thou shalt find the hidden stone.

Magick, with a bit of Alchemy for good measure.

I've quoted a guy called Aleister Crowley; even if you discount all the occult business, he was a Hell of a guy (sic!) and his Autohagiography is a really interesting read.

timeo Danaos et dona ferentes...

Virgil's Aeneid is ingrained on my memory I'm afraid along with useless crap like the 2nd declension and sum, es, est, sumus, estis, sunt!

Sad? Don't start.

Bad memories but actually did mine grammer good.

My French Teacher at the time was from Larne in NI, so I now speak French (what I can remember) with an Irish accent. Tainted!
