Saturday afternoons round my grans in the 70's. World of Sport (Dickie Davies) on TV watching Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks. And I seem to remember tag wrestling with 'twins' dressed in black and red...?

I remember going to see the wrestling at The Assembley Hall in TW when I was at school, massive fun, sitting in the front rows and calling Kendo Nagasaki a poof love it.

Seems there are two camps here, the "proper" british wrestling and the rip-off USA version (now there is a shock, the US taking something from the UK and messing with it. Friends or The Office anyone? )
So you could kind of tell that "our" wrestling was a little fake, but the USA stuff, jeez, how could anyone think it's real.

its called Entertainment Markus British Wrestling had a couple of stars like Big Daddy etc but the rest was just boring... The Americans were brilliant with all their moves etc IMO
