I mentioned this on a thread about Burberry before - what we all have to remember is :
ITS FEKKING BEIGE TARTAN
If your mum bought you a beige tartan scarf for Xmas, would you honestly wear it ?

I predicted this collapse in the brands standing back in 2001.
Its like any fashion. Its only good whilst a handful of people have it. As soon as it goes mainstream it looses its inherrent "Street Value"
If everyone had a Genuine Rolex, the brand would be devalued. If everyone had a Rolls Royce Phantom the brand would be unwanted by the Millionaires.
Chavs adopting Burberry as their demonstration of Class have wrecked it. Theres an Irony in there of course.
Though how anyone can consider wearing a Tracksuit all day long when they arent actually excercising makes me LOL
