ONIONS, am I the only person that hates them?
Just about everything has onions in it, WHY?
Not only do I hate the taste, but I also have an allergy to them.
When I go shopping at the supermarket, I would pick up an item and have to look at the ingredients, and if I see "onion", I put it back on the shelf. There are so many things I know I'd like but I can't buy because of onions.
Just last week I bought a chicken pie. I've bought this same pie before, it didn't have onions then, so I didn't bother to check. As soon as I cut into it I could smell the onion. I had to throw it out. All it said on the box was "Improved flavour".
I'm well aware I'm in the minority, but surely the food manufacturers could make a few things that don't have onions in it.

I don't like them raw - well except in Coleslaw....
The only thing I can think of that you can get without onions, are some frozen burgers - you don't want to be living off those though!

My little brother used to love Dolmio sauce, but he'd spend the first 15 minutes picking out all the little bits of onion before even attempting to eat anything with it
The thing I can't stand is Mayonnaise. You can hardly find any sandwiches on sale anywhere that aren't filled with mountains of the stuff

Onion is wonderful, anything savoury needs a bit of onion, good for you as well.
I cant abide sea food, white fish shaped fish is fine but prawns or any of that nonsense, bleargh, guy at work sits at his desk munching cans of pilchards, it f*ckin stinks, looks like he is eating that 'Mr Dog' dog food.

You say your allergic to onions, What happens to you if you eat them?
I love onions but the during the past year or so my stomach has been going mental when I eat them, got to the point I can't have the smallest bit anymore!Well annoying, no fried onions on burgers, no onion in my pasta sauce, no mince and onion pie, no cheese savory sarnies. My entire cooking skills revolve around the use of onions. whats a girl to do?
I also can't eat sage and onion stuffing (dried onion makes it worse than fresh), dried fruit or sweeetcorn, and also very easy on the eggs.
