On these frosty mornings the outside of the garage roof is white, When the sun comes up & starts to thaw it, I get terrible condensation dripping om the inside..
Whats the best way to stop this ??
Roof sheets are the black corrugated bitumen type
thanks

Mine is the same (only to a small extent) I'm guessing here that the roof hold a certain amount of moisture and the drips are the result of the roof warming up expanding slightly and the trapped water dropping down. Or combined with the temp differance between the garage and the outside.
Someone please tell why it is before I go and but a load of plastic sheet on the inside of the roof to stop the drips on the car

To cure it, you need to insulate the roof. Use rockwool type stuff, available from Wickes etc as stiff, cut to size panels, cut it and force it between the rafters.
You can keep it in place with thin lats, or even twine or fishing line nailed across the rafters at about 18" intervals.

Did think about this, but was worried that it would just act as a sponge, But after reading on the web, Warm air coming into contact with a cold surface is what causes it..
I had thought initially that it was the frost penetrating the thin sheets !!
