Question Whats my bike worth?

Its a 1995 Marin Nail Trail aluminium frame with Rock Shox Quadra 21R suspension forks.

It was bought brand new at £650 and the forks retailed at £300.

My dad says someone is interested in it, i havnt ridden it for years and offered £120.

That about right for a 10 year old mountain bike in good nick?

Sounds about right to me - its hardly worth selling at that price tho - nice bikes those!

I reckon you'll regret letting it go for that little cash (even tho thats probably what its worth). One of my mates sold his old Orange X1 for peanuts last year, and has since wished he hadnt - you'll only end up buying another bike at some point.

I got £120 for a 6 yr old Kona Hahanna so that would seem a fair price..

Keep it. Nowt wrong with that frame.
Look on eBay for some better components and get back onto it.

Or just put it into store for a nice day.

I sold my racer when I was 20 to pay for car tax and insurance, (well, part pay ), and STILL regret it.

If you want decent money stick it on ebay, even better break it up and sell all the bits on ebay.

You'll regret it mate!!

Most of my mates sold their bikes long ago, and have since ended up buying another!

I still have my 1996 Kona Cindercone sat in the garage - although I do admit Ive not riden it for years and its covered in cobwebs...

would agree with alot on here. if you sell it you will regret it. for the sake of £100 odd. if it's taking up space then ok but better to keep.
