Bought exactly the same cable from an ebay shop, 99p plus 40p postage

I hope you didn't actually pay them for it!

Its obviously a mistake isnt it? The carriage will be associated with the item value. DSG along with most other retailers take the **** enormously with items like this. With regard to the plasma screen mount; even Richer Sounds are still asking about £100 for one so I assume that manufacturers are taking the **** there; it wasnt too bad when the screen cost £2,100 for an entry level model but now they start at £700 its ridiculous.

Even worse are LCD mounts which are simple 75mm/100mm VESA mounts; the height street prices are scandalous; I just bought one wholesale for £7+VAT though..... adjustable too.

Yes, they are.

PC World do now at least offer the ability to pick up on-line sales in store, so you can reserve things through the web site and collect them an hour later in person and at the on-line price. I've used that service several times now; their web site prices are reasonable, and you don' t have to wait or pay for delivery.

If I'm not mistaken, it's a mini stereo jack to twin RCA lead, and can be bought for £5.99 at Dixons? I have three.

Tell me about it, my mate bought a 27"LCD and we hunted round every electrical store to find the brackets were some stupidly high price, in the order of £80 to £150

Eventually found one (and only the only one they had) hidden under a shelf at Miller Brothers for £25!!

And theose "Monster" cables they keep pushing. Complete tat for the price!
