Illegally spaced... So crap really... Look forward to him getting served notice to respace by the police, thus rendering said plate useless... Owner of car and plate then refusing to to change said plate and a defective vehicle notice being served. The chaps car getting crushed a few weeks later... Oh well I can dream...

I had a look for a personalised plate a while ago and all the good ones are gone, its pretty hard finding a decent one.Just out of curiosity i typed in "******" and seen that most of them were gone!?why do people want ****** written on their car?Im sure they would be first to complain if somebody spraypainted "******" down the side of their car in the middle of the night.

No one has EVER had entitlement to a plate removed for repeated mis-spacing or any other number plate 'offence', let alone crushed.

ALL Personalised Plates are crap!
Especially ones that have the car in them. So BMW or 911 or whatever. I can SEE what the car is, you dont need to tell me again on the numberplate as well!

Personally I don't care much for 'personal' reg plates, particularly those with spluriously spaced/shaped digits
however Elite reg have PEN 15 advertised for sale @£99,999,just in case anyone wants to show wot a proper *** they are

IIRC the "AS" suffix used to be from Inverness. In order to not offend many Gaelic speakers, the letters "DAS" weren't used in Scotland for a long time as this translates to "Death".
I had my father's plate valued recently which he has retained since the late Fifties - £3K, which is probably worth more than his car. Bear in mind that the agencies always underquote you.
I was once offered two grand for my reg; God I wish I had taken it now, but it's a Canute sitting about the DVLC place.
