Despite people highlighting the scams on ebay, it would appear people cannot resist the offer of somthing for nothing!!

really annoys me, but you cant expect everyone to be so vigilant. some people hardly use computers, have the heads stuck in the clouds (women for example 
), and therefore these scams work. There should be an effort to raise awareness about it tho.

I don't see anything wrong with it as I'm winning the bidding.

the other items he is selling - all hi value tech goodies against the other items he (she!) has normally bought/sold previously (shoes/knickers!!)

bidder ID kept private - stops other bidders seeing who they are competing against (i.e. the seller with another user name......)

yeah theres tons like this for the latest phones, "don't contact through ebay etc" in most cases, its when someones account has been hijacked, i watch them and they are all taken out of my watched items before the end of sale
