Some quick questions as I'm considering getting one of these.
In terms of where you've fitted it in the car what have most of you gone for? I see most people seem to stick them to the windscreens or in the corner by the pillar. I was thinking of the possibility of having one maybe mounted where the centre console it though, like to the left of the stereo. Anyone done this? Is it an option?
From the research I've done it seems the One is the better option than the GO 300 for pretty much the same money. Would you go along with this?
Finally has the £219 deal at PC World finished now? Looks like it has when I looked on there site earlier.
Thanks in advance for your help...

remember the unit needs sight of the gps sats, so down by the radio might interfere with that.
don't forget to upgrade to a bigger sd card and shove all the maps on one card. you can also upgrade the scamera database pretty easily.
cheers

Not essential but definately better. I stuck mine down near the ashtray for a few weeks before mounting it properly (MY98-00 type dash) and it locked on very easily. Much better than my old XDA and receiver. I now have mine mounted on the centre console air vents and it works just as well as the windcreen mount but doesn't look half as ugly ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)

How did you fit it to the air vents then, does it come with the ability to do that or did you need to buy some kind of seperate connecting kit?
Reading in another thread a few people seem to recommend a Mio 168 PDA with built in GPS receiver and add Tom Tom 5 onto it for the same cost as a Tom Tom One. Getting confusing...!
